Frank de Vries is a hospital pharmacist and full professor at the department of clinical pharmacy in the Maastricht University Medical Centre. He completed a PhD in pharmacoepidemiology at Utrecht University in 2007. Over the past years he has worked for Utrecht University and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in London. He has obtained several research grants and prizes, including a Dutch NWO Veni fellowship and the UK National Osteoporosis Society’s Kohn Prize. He was appointed as a full professor at Maastricht University in 2019. Frank has personally run more than 25 courses, mostly for medical fellows, PhD students and early career researchers.
